Sandblasted grapevine birdsafe ?

As above is Sandblasted grapevine safe for birds ? Have discovered a reptile site in the UK that sells this and would like to make some wood type perches for Mojo.

Grapewood is bird safe. Sand-blasting should be fine too. It removes the bark and smooths some of the rough edges. Since the company is selling for use in reptile enclosures, they should be using clean wood, if they are doing it right, so that is good.

Just to be safe, I would still recommend cleaning it yourself before using it. Couldn't hurt, might help. Like rinsing off veggies you bought at the store.
