Sam is adorable. She sounds like my friend's Double-Yellow Headed Amazon (shoulder potato who LOVES footsie games). Maybe you guys can start a Bridge club.

There is just something about the Mealies that gets me everytime. It's something about the look they have. Maybe it is the eye ring, but they always look like those puppies with the big eyes to me, such cuteness.

I've had dogs with that exact same temperment. My family's teacup poodle wouldn't allow me to handle her while I was a young girl, but after I was fully grown she couldn't get enough of me until her dying day. She was just such a princess like... "you just won't know how to hold my fragile lil body, young one."

Your Sam is just beautiful! I know what you mean about the crossed arms.
