I got a Salt Lamp for Christmas, and where it is located will be close to where I plan on putting my Tiel's cage when I get them tonight. Is the Salt lamp bad for them? Its supposed to help with allergies and eliminate Negative Ions. Also, I received a new set of Pioneer woman cookware. I only own pioneer woman stuff lol I know im not supposed to use stuff that has Teflon, but I cant find any info about it. Im just trying to be cautious so I dont hurt my babies when they come home.

Through a quick search I read that Pioneer Woman cookware is made of enameled porcelain and ceramic, which are both forms of naturally nonstick cookware, and generally considered safe around birds as they require no PTFE.

If your salt lamp is the sort that plugs into the wall, it should be safe. But be aware that they get very hot, so you'll need to keep your birds well away so that they don't land on it.
