Hi guys theres a lot online about how far saliva can spread when we talk. This has got me wondering if I was to talk near my parrots food or water bowl does it put him at risk of infection or is it direct contact with the mouth that i have to worry i understand human saliva can make birds ill.
Thanks in advance.

I’m sure you asked this same question about snot??

You need to keep your bird out of your mouth and keep your mouth off his food.

Talking and spreading tiny droplets is not likely to be harmful for your bird.

This information is posted in many places on this site and I dare say a quick search would have got you the info you wanted. Try that in future first?

As long as you don't spit in your parrots food everything will be fine. :)

It's more that we want you to be more self-sufficient. I know that you like asking people things, but you have got to start being more independent rather than immediately posting a question without trying to think about it yourself or trying to find the answer yourself. The search function on this site is pretty good and will bring up threads where your question has been addressed. If you have tried searching and not found an answer or have found conflicting information, then you should ask.

Make sure you get your answers from reputable sites. There are a lot of crappy content farms with articles written by non-experts: here's some information on these: Content farm - Wikipedia
