Hi everyone i have a 6 month old Budgie, I'm wondering if Mosquito repellent Aerogard is safe for my bird i see the active ingredient is 4g/L Pyrethrin's but i have a lot of people saying to not use them in the same room as your bird, but where i live i suffer with mosquito's really badly so i was wondering if it is safe or not? like i use it on the other side of the room to where he is placed in the room. also sorry if this is the wrong channel to post this into! thank you in a advanced

Is there nothing else you could do?

Window screens work well &, while I’ve lived where they don’t exist, there weren’t many insects. They’re the norm here - you’d be on every bug’s menu, particularly at night, without them.

Don’t use aeroguard on or near your bird and if you do have to use it on yourself please apply it outside and stay away from your bird till the smell settles.

so it wouldn't be safe to use Aerogard Home Mosquito Repellent Plug-In Prime Pack in the same room? its like a plug in the wall outlet item and it releases a smell no spray or anything its just a smell
