Riti update #2

Riti went back to Dr D's today for a shot and check. Sadly she still retaining fluid, how such a little girl can have so much drained out I don't know..14CC, I ask twice.They are thinking it's due the reproductive problems but they didn't feel and egg so they think it's an infection. We'll be going back from two more trips and it she's still not better it'll be blood work and X-rays.

She's been acting so much better and look better as well.

Only a weekly injection.

She's doing good enough the gobble down a few treats, 2 sunflower seeds and 4 Almond slivers. And yes I ask today if it was OK and was told as long and it's just a few go for it.

Sorry to hear Riti is still having issues. I hope you can get to the bottom of it. Nice to hear she is acting better, that has to be a good sign right?
I will keep her in my thoughts!

That does seem like a lot of fluid. Is it just free in the abdomen?

As I understood it the fluid collected in the lowest part of the belly and looks like a little beer belly. I think the trip really worn Riti out she not running around like a wild thing just hanging out and eating a bit.
