RIP Bandit

I just dot understand .Woke up this am & found my RTC( Red Tail Cat ) Bandit on his side dead :-(.He was the king of the tank at almost 2 feet in size . I am not sure what killed him it's not often I lose fish . All my water conditions are right on perfect .Here is a pic of bandit as a baby not even a year ago ....

Hewas the king ...In the wild they grow over 4 feet in captivity w/ the proper size home they can grow up to 3 feet .Here is a pic of one caught in the wild

Thanks everyone ...He was the king of all my fish ... He was like a dog when I got home his whole body would shake & he would come to the top so I could pet him...He will be missed....
