Rio has arrived

So, as the title of the post suggests, my baby conure has come home. Yesterday the breeder sent me a video. After seeing that we decided that we can't wait for another moment. It all happened so fast and Rio arrived at today afternoon. He/she is a friendly baby, always ready to snuggle. From tomorrow onwards, we'll start working on the diet plan.

We're waiting for dna test report. I got only budgies from breeder and they can be visually determined. Inca came with DNA test. Now, it's like waiting for your own pregnancy test report

Update: Rio is doing well. I have crushed pellets and grated vegetables, then mixed with seeds. He atleast does not discard it. An evening time snuggle is mandatory. Only thing, Rio is always asking for attention. I need to teach him how to play with toys.

The DNA report has come and it reveals that RIO IS A BOY. That means there's an increase in number of males in our home. Is there any difference between vocalizations of male and female CBCs?

In my house yes. The two girls sound much alike in screaming because they’re sisters. Casey and Rocket each have their own special vocals. Rocket wins in being the loudest.
