Ringnecks with other species

I have a dusky conure who's eight months old and I am considering either getting another conure (green cheek or sun/jenday/goldcapped) or a ringneck but I want to get one that would hopefully not be mortal enemies with my baby. Is there any hope? Which would you recommend? Any experiences? Please help!

My ringneck is in love with my Budgie I certainly wouldn't recommend a Budgie because of the size difference, but the friendship just happened by chance in my case. I don't think there is any way to know how 2 birds will get along unfortunately.

They soo individual, I wish I could say yes or no but it doesn't work that way. Just like kids in school.

I just know I would not want to be on the bad side of a Ringneck.

My 10 week old IRN likes no other bird, lol. (he gets the pin eyes going) But I don't mind.

That video is amazing. I can tell the IRN is a baby too. But what's even more amazing is how patient and polite the p'let is! They're not usually this way! To see and hear this little bird, politely say, "Excuse me!" Cutest video EVER!

You should watch more videos of him... I think he can say around 40 words.
