Bluffing is a word used to describe the behaviour. It is old fashioned, but you can find info under that name. @Monica 's post is awesome and well worth the read. No one is saying to ignore Rio's feelings. Definately don't push him to a point of biting. It is important to remember that parrots have no hierarchy, so there is never a point to betray your parrot's trust.

Awww he is beautiful. I’m so happy to hear the good news. Keoki is being a little brat boy right now at 5 months, and testing his boundaries. I wish he could fly, he is a pretty confident bird but I just know he would be happier if he could fly.
