All or most all of these products, in the supplied link, can of course be used for our bird's benefit, at times, depending on the severity of the disease/condition but many are not strong enough to do the trick. Also when a bird is sick, often they do not drink enough liquids that these meds are added to in order to get the needed amts. of meds into their systems fast enough.
Best to get the proper prescribed meds for our birds from our avian vets. Prescription meds are usually administered intravenously, intramuscularly or Sub Q, not in the drinking water.
For those that for sure do not have an avian vet or avian specialist or someone else in their area/neighborhood, maybe you can find someone on the internet who can assist you by sending you what you need but I am not sure if this is legal or not, wherever? If not legal, then of course it is each person's decision to do what you gotta do to save your bird, even if that means possible trouble with the law for you or for your supplier. I don't advise doing anything against the law of course, just saying.
Sorta like if your human child is sick or injured and you must get him/her to the hospital immediately (without time to even wait for an ambulance or police officer). Do you follow the law and not run stop-lights and stop signs and do you drive at the speed limit or do you floor it to get your loved one the medical help he/she so desperately needs, without a minute to waste? Your call, I know what I would do.
