He does this with a lot of objects he can hold, often times bonking himself in the head with it.

He is probably the most laid back bird I've had.

Sounds like grey grey, little squirt likes to put his head under bells, and try to wear them as a hat.
If it falls off, he gets mad and throws it around attacking it. Then tries again.

I don't remember offhand, honestly! I got him in May 2017 from Open Wings Sanctuary. He had been abused and lived in a cramped cage with some Lovebirds. He actually did not want to approach me when I went to meet him at the foster home, but I had this nagging feeling in my gut that told me we needed each other. I took him home that day. It took a lot of time, treats, and patience, but he's really come out of his shell. I love him to pieces.

He sure seems sweet. How long did it take him to come out of his shell?

He's still very shy and takes time to get used to new people, toys, etc.

I think he was desperate for love, so he started opening up to me little by little around a month after getting him. He's extremely food motivated, so that helped as well. He'll do anything for fruit, juice, and other tasty snacks.
