I am going to foster for a bit or longer. The question would be about cockatiels. A gentleman passed and left the bird and to his son doesn't want the bird, my question is, should I take him in?
Sounds like the bird might work for you. Do you have other pets? Have you owned a bird before? The are no other birds here. I do have the time and will be putting the bird on insurance

Well, now I see her profile picYes she has![]()
Yes. I do think you should take him in. Better to know this bird will be taken care of under your care and even if it's temporary you will be responsible in making sure it goes to a good home. So, I take that as a positive! Can't wait to see your new charge. It is so hard to lose a special bird we've loved for so long. Even though it wasn't so long ago when you lost Valentine I think taking in this cockatiel will bring in some healing and fill the void of quiet for you. Hugs dearie...I lost my buddy Valentine and she was 14 years old! She passed not too long ago. It has been my desire to foster a bird because I have everything they would need. It is going to be an adventure and I would like to be on that journey. Thanks for all the replies
Where is your Bird FairIt's not the OHPA Bird Fair is it? I will be there if so- at a table for PEARL rescue. I didn't think you lived near me though- so maybe another bird fair?
And sorry about the tiel.
