This was quite cool to see this species as its one I know a bit about but have never seen one before either in person or a Zoo so it was a real treat. She was a bit flighty during the demo so I got a lot of nice wing shots.

Aw you're too sweet to say that! It was kinda funny I had to use my shorter lens 70 to 200 I believe and the woman carrying the Kestrel around actually said wow isn't that lens too big for good pics? I'm glad to see that wasn't the case
She's an absolutely gorgeous raptor for sure I thought the same that Kites definitely seem more slick than Hawks or Falcons.
Here's another of my fav pics. Love how I got almost the full wing span that shows off some of those beautiful red barred feathers and a coincidenal nictitating membrane.
