R.I.P Chick 1, 2, and 3..

My budgie pair laid 9 eggs all up.. 6 were infertile, one hatched and died at a few hours old, I had 2 eggs left, the other day I opened the second egg and it was DIS (dead in shell) and last night I opened the 3rd egg and it was DIS also.

The chick that hatched was buried in my backyard.. I was so excited 'cause I got to see it hatch and all.. it was the best thing I have ever seen, and then it died.. well I guess it just wasn't meant to be.

I am so sorry to hear that,I know how you feel as that happened to me once.10 eggs 7 fertile and 3 hatched,4 DIS,last egg that hatched passed away 48 hrs later,2 chicks lived.My heart goes out to you

I have to say theres nothing more beautifull than budgies matting such finess then to lose what love brought realy hurts i did see a nother breed mate and i was discusted he literly raped the female i said id never own them and never have
i am sorry you lost the cluch but there will be more it could have been shell to hard for baby to open and i know theres something you can do but forget what it is im sure some one will come along and say

I'm sorry Renae - I thought I saw this on a Budgie forum , but wasn't sure it was you...and I didn't want to ask and somehow jinx you if it wasn't your posting. I'm sad that this happened to you - but things will be different next time - I'm sure of it!
