Hi my bird got startled and flew to the other side of the room and when he flew back he didn't go to his cage rather he landed on top of the radiator which at the time was on, normally isnt. He stood on it for 30 seconds or so before he stepped up on the step up stick. It wasnt burning hot just warm and he seemed fine afterwards and I inspected his feet and they didn't look any different than they normally do. Should I be worried should I take him to the vet. Or do you think he is fine. How do I tell if a bird has burnt his feet.

Thanks in advance

If you can touch the heat for as long as your bird did, and it doesn’t hurt you, then it shouldn’t hurt him either. It sounds like he should be okay.

Woul there be any signs or symptoms that I should be on the look out for. Hes alseep now but in case for tommorow. I believe he should be fine though because it wasnt hot just warm and he didn't scream or show any signs of being in pain while on thier. How do birds feet work in terms of feeling heat. Thanks in advance.

Also I know this may sound like a stupid question but can birds digest dust because when he flew he landed on the floor and got a strand of dust on his beck and before he let me remove it he swallowed it like a silly thing.
