You know the words under your account that say, meeting neighbors or moving in or rollerblading along the road. What are they called, and how often do they change? I know that they say how you are doing in the avenue like how long you have been here,

Birdlover created the Avenue. It's currently owned by Danita. Moderators & admin all have special banners like "Super Moderator" or "Administrator". People who are techy, long time members, & can help have "Avenue Concierge" from when it switched to the current format, before my time.

The reason it's so much more friendly than other online forums or, heaven forbid, social media, and, in particular, why the information is of such high quality, is that it's all done by real people who actually care about birds, members & it, & is moderated. On social media, anyone inclined can pretend to be an expert.

Any staff online including moderators + everyone else shows on the homepage.

Whew. I'm done. I think the librarian in me is showing today.
