Question about infection

How easily can my bird get sick from germs is it specific germs or any. For example I washed my bird dishes then I touched the lid of his bin which I throw his seeds and pooped paper in then not long after I had to move his food and water bowl to clean that area and didnt wash my hands. That cant make him I'll can it.
Also he likes playing with my indoor shoes is this fine to let him do in terms of him getting I'll. Sorry if I seem crazy or ocd hes my first bird so I need to make sure I am doing everything properly.

If birds needed to be kept in a sterile environment, there would be FAR less birds in the world.
