Having now experienced a cockatoo doing her best impression of a velociraptor who stubbed his toe, I still think quakers are louder.

When I had Burt and Pudge, they’d get each other going and my god. I thought my ears would bleed.

My Phoebe has started sime springtime screams. They vibrate my eardrum! Plus I can actually feel the sound waves move through my body if I'm standing next to her!!!!

My Willow is quiet. But he’s becoming louder as he gets more comfortable and seems to be coming out of his shell. He is certainly ABLE to be loud, though.

he’s also not a talker. He talks a bit in his cage, but not outside it.
