Quaker and wing surgery

My Quaker had surgery to remove a tumour on the elbow of his wing. He seems to have recovered fine since eating, drinking, and pooping, except now waiting for the wing to heal. He seems to have no mobility in it. The wing droops low and I help him by fanning it out for him a few times a day. I guess trying to do physiotherapy on him. Will he gain mobility in it? Vet says it's a wait and see. Anyone know how I can do physiotherapy with him? Not sure if fanning out his wing and gently stretching it out is the way to go. He is not bothered by it at all. Skin is still healing as the vet had to use a special "glue" because there wasn't enough skin to stitch it back. and he has a collar so he doesn't pick at it. Please help.
