My baby green cheek conure comes home about a week after my first clutch of quail are due to hatch. It'll be too cold to move them outside at that point. The only rooms I could move them to away from my bird and my daughter's birds would be the bathroom or the laundry room. But the laundry room is where the cat's litter box is and I don't want to stress the babies out. I'm assuming it isn't safe, potential disease-wise, to keep the brooder in the same space as any of our parrots.
Any wisdom to share? Those of you who breed poultry inside, do you keep them separate from your parrots or are the quarantine requirements different when the birds are so distantly related?
