PVC plastic sheeting

I was wondering if it was safe to use pvc plastic sheeting under our green cheeked conures cages to protect the rug
I have researched and it appears to be safe unless it reaches very high temps
I will off gas it for a couple of weeks outside
Any advise or knowledge is appreciated

hi I think @Pixiebeak uses some sort of plastic sheeting and her top cages

have you thought about a shower curtain under cage ?

I use acrylic hard sheets on top of my cages. My acrylic probably wouldn't hold up well under the cages , mine would crack or scratch .

I have used the floor protectors that go under office chairs to protect the carpet. Works great and easy to clean up and disinfect when needed..for example if it links…mine are just square shaped.
