I have sweet pea my Male bourke that every time I let him out to fly he wants in my other 2 bourkes cage they are Male & female siblings. My question is can I put them together in the same cage with 1 female and 2 males? I'm afraid that some squabbling will occur. They each have a flight cage.

I don't have bourkes but since they're so laid back I think I would test it out.

Agreed. You can always allow short "visits", and if all three do well together, you can keep them caged together.

ok I'll try it, I just thought 2 males and 1 female would not be a good fit

And it might not be but typically they're just really mellow birds so there's a chance it will work out.

If all three want to be together, why not try it out?

I have bourkes and it just depends on the males, the combo might not work but
If not the males will bicker/chase and you will need to remove

In an aviary type situation, people generally recommend more males than females. This usually gets into breeding though...
