Pumpkin Pie is my orange tabby, today she isn’t doing so well at all. She lost a ton of weight and I don’t think she’ll make the night. Anything I feed her she instantly throws back up. She’s just shy of 20 years old. (October 8th). She is very weak but seems to not wish to hold still. She’ll lay down for a half hour. Yowl, get up and move to another spot. Repeat that a dozen more times. I think she is unsure what to do or is confused. Maybe looking for a spot to go peacefully. What I do notice is she’s “hiding” normally she has no problem laying on the couch with us. Today? No. For as weak as she is she will gladly “fall” off the couch to go hide under something only to go elsewhere. I keep telling her it’s okay, you can go. We are here. I also told her if she doesn’t cross that bridge by tomorrow late morning I’ll be taking her to the vet. I’m all for natural and peaceful but if she is unable to drink water or eat I’m not letting her starve.
