Progress with Friar!

It’s been eight weeks since Friar came home, so I thought I’d give an update!
He’s so smart. Last week, he finally left “old cage” for his new digs and seems pleased. He won’t let me come near it, but we’re working on branching to get him comfortable leaving the cage. His first vet visit went well, and aside from cataracts and slightly elevated liver levels he’s healthy. Today he let me spray him for bath time (big win!) and I’ve attached a photo.
He’s still not sure he can trust me, but we’re going really slowly and celebrate the wins!

Hello all!
Friar is a YNA, and attached are a couple of recent photos. We’re still slowly making progress, and have been on two road trips together, which he has seemed to love. He consistently “gentle targets”, and has learned “turn around” and “foot”. Also, he plays with toys now! I’m still trying to get him to play on his play gym and tree, and I still can’t touch him, but we’re doing well overall. I’d love any additional advice!
