This is Dooley. We actually sold him a few months ago since I'm not at a place in life where I can go to my parent's and ride, nor can I afford to board him right now. Mom wanted a horse she could ride and he was way too much horse for her in both size and attitude. Thankfully he's now the trail/fun horse for an ex-jockey and family friend and I get regular updates on him.
Sakkie was my horse in South Africa and unfortunately we couldn't afford to bring him with to Australia.
He bites, kicks, spits and likes to roll while carrying a rider! (And he looks a bit like a donkey.) But I learnt to ride on him and I think he is absolutely beautiful!
Wow those are all beautiful horses, the barrel racing photo is awesome! The first horse in the pic of mine is Patriot he is an Appy, he isn't mine, I wish. The owner isn't selling him I am just training him. The Palomino is Mac, he is my boyfriend's aunt horse.
I will deff. be sketching some of these and posting them!
Here's my boy, Bold Brush. He's an ex-racehorse Thoroughbred. He got injured while he was on the track and was retired from racing. If you look at his legs, you can see where the did pinfiring on him to try to help heal his bucked shins. I've been training the racehorse out of him. He's come a long way since I got him.
this is Dusty ... I dont really know what he is, he was in the slaughter pen as a baby. I bought him when he was just about two and he was all leggy and gawky. I'm leaning now towards a morgan quarter horse cross but who knows. Doesnt matter anyways
this was taken this fall... Instead of doing "cow pie bingo" we did "horse pie bingo" at a fall festival. Dusty pooped and a lucky person won $500 and another $500 was donated to relay for life =)
We have 16, I'll have to see if I can dig up some old pics of them because I haven't been out at my parents place to take a photo of them in a while But this is Cherie, our two year old mare:
