Poppers rushed off to vets!! In bad shape.Sad update-post#32

Geez, as if things can't go from bad to worse. First my heart attack then poppers!! Haven't been home 48 hours yet.

Poppers was fine up until about 2 hours ago, she fell off perch and lie on her back, barely able to breath. Feet all clenched. I scooped her up, managed to get a shot of anti seizure medication in her. And off to vets we went.
And I am not to be driving till at least saturday. Vet is keeping her to run every year she can go figure out what the heck is going on, and what got missed the last few visits. She was cleared just a couple weeks back, maybe 3.
But she is in very bad shape. I don't know if she'll make it through this. Vet took her immediately after taking one look at her, said "go on home, I'll keep her and run tests, get an IV in her. Call you in morning..........
So don't have anything else right now....sigh!!

Mike, I'm so sorry about Poppers. I'm sure the Dr. will figure it out and send her home as good as new. Her seizures may be idiopathic (without known cause). If they are she may need to be on medication for life.
