It looks like every spring we will have to put on the collar. She is chewing, plucking and barbering her feathers.

Yes the collar keeps them from plucking they're unable to reach them with it in place.

Bella hates it can't move the head much I wouldn't have it on but last year when she started plucking and chewing she made two good sores. We are trying to prevent that this year.
