I didn't know about this when my mother in law died in 2001...she had a pace maker in her for about 4 months....we later found out we could have donated it for an animal....she would have loved that!

I got my first job working in a vet hospital back in 1987 and we had a client with a schnaunzer that had a pacemaker. I thought that was so cool then. I think people are willing to do so much more for their pets these days than they were even back there.
