Poisonous plant ???

Does anyone know what kind of plant this is ? Is it a Philodendron ? I caught two of my guys nibbling on the leaves ( in an area that they have never went to nor are they allowed to) they didn't nibble long but I'm scare cause I'm reading these are poisonous if it is Philodendron .......anything I should give them ??

from what I read they have oxalate crystals in them. These are like tiny glass needles
watch for breathing or swallowing trouble.
I think an immediate call to the vet is needed!

Going on a search about Philodendron:

Philodendron (Philodendron scandens)

All parts, including roots

Oxalates

Oral irritation, difficulty swallowing, vomiting

I would strongly suggest a vet visit is in order too as above, better safe than sorry.

It looks more like a Pothos plant which also has oxalates in it. I hope You have called Your Vet and they are doing OK

i think you are right about it being a Pothos plant, all the images I've looked at are the same as mine, thank you for identifying (yes, they have all been removed from the house)....I have not called a vet yet, I have been feverishly searching the net.....my daughter said they were only up there for about a minute, and so far they are acting normal, drinking, and thankfully just ate their snack with their usual gusto....a friend of mine ( who this happened to too) told me to keep a close eye on them and make sure they are eating and drinking, stools stay normal, and there's no sign of vomiting.......

They probably did not actually ingest any of it,or not enough to make them sick! Keep watching them closely

My lovebirds destroyed a pathos without any problems developing. Vet said just to watch and make sure they ate and drank ok. No problems.

Poison, remove that plant from your house. I had one, and my one tiel ate some, she got very sick.

I just wanted to give an update......my babies are doing great and are acting very normal....But i will still keep a good eye on them for a day or two more to make absolutely sure ........I feel I got very lucky my babies are ok when some are not so lucky and for that I am so very thankful.....
