I love the ways all these parrots look. I have always like Senegals a lot and even thought about getting before. I have never seen Red Bellies and Capes before being on bird forums. I can see the resemblances in these bird but what specifically makes them a poicephalus. Are they all similar in temperament? I can't wait to learn more about them. Thanks!! Poicephalus vary a lot in temperament between species. What makes them all Poicephalus are genetic affiliations; same thing that bonds Amazons species together or macaws, etc. They have similar genetic backgrounds and can probably interbreed.I love the ways all these parrots look. So, what are the temperaments (general) of each one? I am curious what Red Bellieds, Senegals, Meyers and Jardines are like in terms of things like activity level and noise level. And, just, what are they like to be around?Poicephalus vary a lot in temperament between species.
