Pls help. [Sad update #11]

Pls help. I’ve just homed 9 budgies and one in particular is really concerning me. I think it’s a hen. Her cere has gone brown and I was told there was 2 mating pairs one being 2 greens. So I’m new to this and taking a guess I say hen. But she sits puffed up all day and her head under her wing. I don’t think they had certain there old diet as the poop did change but most are bk to normal looking. But there is also almost black runny poop. I’m going to search for a Avarian vet but I am stumped right now. I just know she isnt well. Obviously I just want to help her. I’ve researched budgies and taught myself what I can. But I’m certainly no expert. It just seems to be her. There is a grey old boy who sits like his eyes are closed but he actually has large plumage on his head.
I would be grateful for any advice you can give me pls. I just want to help her

I’m a novice new to Budgie keeping but I know she’s not right, the rest aren’t like it. I just want to be able to help her. I’m going to search for a avarian vet but in the meantime.... I’d appreciate any advice you have pls.

I'd use a clean, damp (lukewarm) towel and gently clean the yuck off.

Hi thank you for your reply’s.... she is quite timid but I shall be able to catch her to clean her up.
I new this wasnt right.
The runny poo, the feathered puffed etc.
I shall do this. Should I separate her from the others x

Ok I’m having real trouble finding a avarian vet. The Pdsa don’t specialists in birds. I’m happy to pay a private vet tho of course.
Anything else I can do for her? Many thanks

I’m gutted.... she was on the floor of cage when I went in. The rest of the flock are now lively and preening again.
I knew she was poorly. I’m gutted I couldn’t help her in time. Thank you for all your help.

With birds, time really is of the essence. It is a good idea to locate a (somewhat) nearby avian vet and have their info handy for the next emergency.

Sorry for your loss. You should consider getting the other birds checked just in case it was something contagious.

It wasn’t your fault. Sickness plus the stress of moving was just too much.

Find a good vet, and stock up on basic medicine.
