Pita goes to the vet Wednesday

Well, thanx to Bee, Pita is going to the vet, for a consultation & testing about his feather picking. I have been writing down notes, so I don't forget to ask him about things, like:

metal toxicity
Giardia
Calcium deficiency
Zinc & lead levels

I'm definitly going to have another blood panel done, his last one was in November, but the plucking started in Feb.

I have to admit, I think it's a combination of my stress levels & mood, and hormones.

I broke down tonight after I put him to bed. I try so hard during the day to not be stressed, so after I put him to bed, I just lost it. It just kills me to think he may be doing this to himself because of me.

Then again it could have nothing to do with me.

I don't think he is doing it because of y ou dear..he could not ask for a better person to be his mommy..

I'm so sorry Pita is plucking. I know how heartbreaking it can be to feel like it's your fault, but it's not. You are doing everything you can.
