Pippen scared us this morning.

Well I woke up this morning about 7 and thought I heard some strange noise coming from the computer room Pippen lives in. I walked in and she was like coughing and seemed to be having trouble getting her breath. I woke up my sister and she came in and she was still doing it a bit but getting better. I figured I'd be making a fast run to the vet we used for her checkup but she kept getting better and was breathing fine and being fiesty again by the time I had to leave to help a friend for the day.
I setup my wifi camera in her room and checked on her through out the day she was quietly sitting and snoozing on her perch and making no bad noises. Sister works Saturday so she got home after 3 and Pippen was fine and wanted attention and got a bunch of healthy moist fruits and treats. She's out here in the living room in her big rolling house and is perfectly fine and fiesty and making squeaks and trying to bite and lick my fingers like normal.
All I can figure is she got some food or water down the wrong pipe and cleared it out with some time.

Yep, I was thinking how can she be sick so soon after a fairly thorough checkup but I was going to take her in if it didn't clear right away. I hope they are open on weekends, but so far she's fine again. She's so tiny I was really worried at first.

Glad she now seems ok. Fingers crossed it was a once off thing for her.

I left a light on for her that isn't very bright in here and she woke up early and is all over her mansion and eating and playing so think all systems are good to go with her
