Some of the pics are from last weekend and the rest are from this weekend. The 2 black hens are following me up on the front porch, cause they think I have food, LOL!

Yes, I can touch, and pick up all of them, but when they are out in the yard like in the first picture, I can only catch a few of them, cause those are the tame ones, lOL! GG, That is so funny! Our chickens come up the stairs of the back deck, and look in the sliding glass door, haha!

thank you Marie! Yes, the fids do watch them through the window, and they get very very still and quiet, haha!

My grandmother had a banty hen named Brownie, who regularly came in the house, sat in my grandma's lap to be petted, and hopped down and went outside when she had to poo! My grandma LOVED her banties...she had a whole flock. I, however, was terrified of them, especially the roosters. Fiesty little buggers, those!

They are so cute. I never was that enamoured of chickens until I saw "The secret life of Chickens" on PBS---I totally fell in love with the French mutation that threw herself on top of her chicks to save them from a hawk attack. I cried!!!
