Peppermint Oil

I just bought a peppermint oil scented body lotion from a local eco salon. I didn’t even think about if it was safe until I got home lol. They use 100% pure peppermint essential oil. It’s not like I’m diffusing it into the air, which I know is unsafe. Is it okay if I wear this around my birds?

Peppermint oil can cause respiratory issues for our birds.
Since you are not using it as a straight oil base, or diffuser, it may be okay.
It's one of those oils that opinions are divided on. Some say it's okay; others say no.
I would personally veer towards the not safe, just as a precaution for safety reasons.
