Pictures Peep/Oliver update

Peep is definitely becoming bald. Mostly under his wings, his belly, legs, and his facial "hair" is getting thin. So far so good with Oliver. He is either an asymptomatic carrier or he fought off the virus. He has lost no feathers. Peep has less energy than before and likes to nap on my person a lot. Oliver is getting increasingly social with me. Which has its downside. He LOVES to preen me. And since I have no feathers, he preens my SKIN! And since I'm on a lot of pain medication, I bruise easily. So my arms are covered in bruises.

O crap...So sorry...you both have had more than your share...Hang in there...Gosh I put Penny back in the cage after she went on the floor to my file she loves to chew...I just am too spent now at the end of the day to take anymore...So she went to bed but she is still mumbling step up softly from her bed....OOOOOOOOOOHhhhhhhhhhhh....I luv her!!!!

They still love each other but Peep's energy level is definitely lower and he naps a lot. On me, whenever possible. Oliver LOVES to play Jet Plane and flies around a LOT. But he visits me and Peep in between flights. I'm stretched out on the bed most of the time that I'm home. (I'm have severe mobility/pain issues...sciatica, hip bursitis, and arthritis combined) . I have an appointment with a pain management specialist next week and am waiting for an appointment with an orthopedist. I'm definitely getting tired of this!

That's great that they still get on well. Poor Peep, but he has you to snuggle with, I'm sure he's happy

Considering the situation, they are lucky to have you and they seem happy. . I want through the preening my skin stage with Loki but she eventually got over it. I distracted her whenever she tried or put her down a foot away.
