I haven't been on here for a couple years now, I think. My husband and I had a baby late March this year, so my focus has been at home.
Clover passed away Tuesday morning (or Monday night). I found her laying in the cage. She had had a mass for a few months that the vet recommended we not attempt operation on (and, honestly, I couldn't justify thousands for it). She was about 15 years old and partnered with a GCC.
Olive the GCC seems to be doing okay without her mate so far.
Clover was more bonded to myself, and then Olive to her, so it is a bit of a challenge to adjust. She was "my girl " and very affectionate with me.
We have her buried in our yard, and held a small service as a family.
