I just rescued a chicken born mid April. I have an Amazon as well. The chick has fowl pox. I have a few questions.
1) How do I treat this?
2) Should I take this as an indication to vaccinate her for other diseases, if so, which ones and where do I purchase them?
3) Is my parrot safe and what do I need to do to keep her safe?
Thanks!

I suggest checking this site (linked below). I also suggest full seperation of your chicken and Amazon. This isn't only because of disease transfer, but also behavioural differences that could lead to one or both of the birds getting injured. Once your chicken recovers from pox, I highly suggest getting two more chickens. Chickens should be in a group, they are highly social and will thrive with friends.
