Well, it FINALLY came today & it's GORGEOUS!!!

THIS was supposed to be for Buddy's Gotcha day BUT.... I couldn't wait.

Other than the fact that customs decided to investigate... & Open my box for me!

SUPER Glad that John wrapped it in cellophane!!!





He is a little afraid of it. He flew to get away a few times... So I put him ontop. I'm sure it's gonna get the evil eye for a few days because other than dowel he's never had a real wood perch before.

The best part was watching him try to get down & eventually dropping off it. With no harm or fear!

John we love it!

Happy early gotcha day Buddy! He is such a beautiful bird! He looks like he will really enjoy the perch once it isn't evil any more!

Buddy spent the whole night staring at it... Then I told him my friend John made it "just for him". It was "John's Perch".

Then, I made him fly & told him to go to "John's Perch!"

He landed right on it, so it is definitely a training perch... Soon (I expect) to be the favorite perch!

John definitely makes these w/ the of all things birdy in mind.

IMO some of the best ever spent!

& Only day 1
