I am so nervous, for some reason! I guess excited to meet some birds, too I hope to add a third (or so) member to my flock of two budgies in the not-too-distant future.
I will get to meet a 40 yo male B&G macaw, a bonded pair of cockatiels (M and F, 11 yo), a couple of conures (don't know what type or ages as they are not on the website yet), maybe an CAG, and a 33 yo Senegal (!).
I'm a big believer that the bird will pick me. If you've been following along, you can see how the thoughts have been playing out about the macaw and the cockatiels. The only one I may have to say a hard no to is the Sennie. Even the G, B, and U of Senegals thread here says that they can be quite aggressive, and I just can't have a bird come in and torture my budgie boys.
I'm not in a huge hurry to bring a bird home now--this moment! So, even if none of these birds turns out to be the one for me or me for any of them, I'm not going to be too disappointed.
Any last minute words of wisdom and advice? Juju, Jelly, and I thank you!
