I have noticed my parrot is losing feather around his eye. He is moulting right now but is this normal. No signs of infection. He is showing symptoms of moulting where he gets a little aggressive, sleeping more than often and he lost his appetite a bit yesterday but he seems to be fine today. But is this normal? Also when he cleans himself, white dust falls out.

I would think it is molting, but I can't be 100% sure. @Ripshod

This looks like a moult to me. The new pin feathers are visible and are growing in. There is also a chance you bird list feathers in that spot unrelated to a moult and they are returning, but without know about a potential incident, I will agree that it is a moult.

IRN can moult pretty fast around their heads and some are more irregular than others. You may find your bird moults in this similar pattern every year.

You can feed hemp hearts to help with boosting protein during moults.
