So in the mornings, I change all the water and whatnot for the babies. This morning, I felt rather ill so was in bed for maybe an hour more then usual.
So trying to be nice, my brother(bless his heart) tried to change water for me while I was asleep. Doing so, he forgot the little latch that keeps the water bowl door secure.

Well, waking up and seeing a fully-flighted little conure on top of her cage was a huge scare since I have two cats and two dogs, and my bedroom door was open as well.
One pup was just a few feet away snoozing under the covers.

Anyhow, my morning started with a panic. But I'm so ever glad I'm a light sleeper and woke to Yuka's chirping. :angel1:
