Ozzie the budgie

RIP Ozzie the budgie.
He was at the adoption program with me. He has been at the rescue for a couple of years. He was the cutest little pale yellow budgie.
Most of the cockatiels/budgies we have gotten in the past have not been in the best of health to begin with, so I shouldn't be too suprised, but he actually seemed the healthiest out of the bunch.
RIP Ozzie the budgie.

Thanks guys.
He was the funniest little bird. At the program they were in the glass Petsmart enclosures and he would regurgitate for his reflection in the glass and wipe it all over. We would have to clean his enclosure glass all the time. He was definitely a "blond" not the smartest budgie, but he was SOOO cute. At the program most of the day was spent interacting with the birds and getting them more social so they could find homes. He LOVED millet and would climb on your hand without even noticing that he was on you. Then, after the millet was gone, he would realize he was on a person and get startled and fly away. He was very funny and loved his budgie friends.
The other three budgies were all sitting together today and looked sad that their friend of 2-3 years was gone. I guess when he was found on the bottom of the cage, one of the other budgies was sitting next to his body.

I am so sorry that Ozzie passed. He sounds like a wonderful budgie who has an awsome personality! I know that Ozzie will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. Rest in peace Ozzie and may you fly free with grace.
