Has to be an eagle owl maybe? Need to know where in the world this has been filmed to be more specific.

Quite possibly a barred owl.

They're not huge owls but they do prey on other birds of prey. It is slowly coming to light that owls are the orcas of the bird world. They'll hunt and eat other birds of prey.

That's crazy! I watched it a few times just to see if the owl just knocked it out, or actually had a hold of it. I couldn't tell honestly.

I couldn't tell exactly what happened either but I'd imagine the owl got a hold of it. I'm glad that it was so quick the camera didn't really capture that part. It was so quick I don't even think the other hawk realized what happened :(

Great horned owls and barred owls will prey on other raptors and vice versa. I try to never end up in a position where I have to leave one of my hawks out in the woods over night because many falconers have tracked their transmitter to a pile of feathers the next morning. There are nice sections of woods that I don’t fly my hawks in during the late winter because of owls.

The creepy part is that you can see the owl's eyes the whole time.
