Our New Baby Budgie

Hi everyone,

2 days ago we bought home our new baby budgie. He has only taken a day to get used to us and to sit on our finger, he is such a clever little boy.

His name is Loki and I have put a photo on to show you all.

Ripshod, yes we are going to let it grow back. The person who sold him to us said that if you want to handle him and train him, it is best to have one of his wings clipped. He said it will grow back in about 3 months. I do look forward to him flying around to his hearts content. It is the 1st budgie we have ever had with a clipped wing, I was unsure, but my husband said it would be good just to train him up and then let it grow back

We love Marvel and really love Loki, so it had to be

Also, we do think he is mischievous

Loki is getting so close to us now. He sits just under my chin and I can stroke his back and he loves having the side of his head stroked too. He is getting more inquisitive and loves sitting on our shoulders, he will just sit there for hours LOL! He also preens me and loves getting underneath my hair and hiding
