Our G2 Bingo

I've not shared any photos or vids yet of any of our Goffins flock so thought I would start with Bingo. Here is a short video showing Bingo working on a Queen Palm nut yesterday. As you can see, Bingo does not actually eat the nut but she sure loves stripping all the fibers off the husk. When finished, Bingo then likes to tuck the palm nuts into her feathers. Silly bird!

I have never ran across that type of nut.

That particular nut came from one of our own Queen Palm trees, Kristy. I'm in South Florida and there are many different species of Palms here that produce nuts which our parrots enjoy.

Oh dear I forget it's like a whole nuther' country down there. lol

How cool is that, go out and pick nuts off your own trees!
