Orange on my little guy's Eye Ring :(

I read about this and can't find a clear answer doing research. My little baby has some orange popping up on the white eye rings on both eyes.

He just started snacking on nutri berries more, but that's the only difference to his diet I can think of. Does anyone know what this is from or have the same issue?

Nerd used to get those because he was always running his head into things being a lousy flyer. It never seemed to have any lasting effects and he made it 31 years with me but he was a Maxi Pionus. I'd see what others have to say say just in case to be safe, plus folks familiar with your type of bird.

Could be orange dye from a toy.

Or maybe a diet high in vitamin A? (lots of carrots?)

I was thinking dye from a toy too. Echo my U2 is cover in orange from a toy for a couple days now

I don't know if this helps but my budgie Manny gets orange on his forehead after he eats orange foods like carrots. Do the nutraberries have any orange parts in them?

My girl is about 8-9 months and she’s got a varied diet. Lots of red and orange peppers. I thought it was normal no issues
