Opal inbetween Bite and Nib!

Hi Guys,
From past two days Opal (2-3months) have suddenly started to nib/bite on my fingers..its not really a bite..mostly licking my hand skin and suddenly followed by a very mild bite as well..but this is what he is continuously doing...
any suggestion for this behaviour or its just a young age factor?

When he is bitting or nibbing my fingers..should i let him? coz its not really hurting me but what i am scared is that this will become a habit for him...right?

Gentle redirection is good while they're so young, otherwise they can form bad habits. You can try substituting a toy when Opal starts trying to nibble/chew.
