It’s been a whole year since I’ve lost my 15 year old lovebird Coca. Its sad to say but I think about her almost every day, our house is too quiet now without her. Its incredible how much we get attached to these birds.

In her last year she wasn’t flying that much, and it looked like it had arthritis. She had also cataracts one of her eyes. Still not really sure what happened the night she died. It looked like she had some sort of stroke or seizure, her abdomen was swollen, she had rapid breathing, and not able to use her legs. It happened so fast...

I regret that she didn’t live longer. I have never thought that she will leave us so soon.
